Alloys You Can Use

This aluminum alloy is the most cost-effective and common type used for diecasting, and it stands as the best option by combining the factors of cost and utility. 380 aluminum also provides the right characteristics for an above-average machining experience.
360 aluminum is the next best option on this list because it comes with superior strength, high corrosion resistance, and fairly good ductility. However, this one would be slightly harder to cast.
This is a modification of 380 aluminum. It comes with better die filling properties but has lower toughness than the other options.
While all the other alloys are used for normal projects, 390 aluminum is best for special applications that require better strength, wear-resistance, and fluidity.
